Description
New York - The remnants of a demolished tractor-trailer litter the Northway after it crashed into a concrete abutment below an overpass two miles south of Clifton Park today. The driver, Dudley Hourigan, 37, of Califon, New Jersey, suffered a possible skull fracture and is reported in fair condition at Leonard Hospital, Troy. Volunteer firemen from the Town of Half Moon washed gasoline from the highway to prevent a possible fire. State Police said Hourigan apparently lost control of the tractor as he approached the overpass. The vehicle was owned by Merritt Inc. of Flemington, New Jersey
