Thompson, Lieutenant-governor of the Sunflower State and life-long friend of Governor Alfred M. Landon. Mr. Thompson is shown above, right, telling Honorable Joseph W. Martin, Jr., center, and Mr. Robert H. Thayer all about the Landon tidal wave sweeping in from the "prairie states."
