Buddy Ebsen steps out of his well-known character of a TV detective as he produces and stars in "The Paradise Connection," an all-new action/drama motion picture for CBS-TV, Saturday evening, Sept. 15 (9-11 p.m. ET). The QM production was filmed entirely on locations near Lahaina, Maui. At left, Buddy is seen with daughter Bonnie who guest stars as a young waitress involved in the complex plot. At right is Marj Dusay, an attractive widow with whom he has a romantic affair.
