Description
David Wolper, a long-time Abraham Lincoln buff and executive producer of the "Sandburg's Lincoln" series of six specials on the NBC Television Network, shows one of his pieces of Lincoln memorabilia, a letter written to Lincoln by an 11-year-old girl asking the President to grow whiskers. The second of six "Sandburg's Lincoln" specials, "Sad Figure, Laughing," will be colorcast on NBC-TV on Lincoln's birthday, Wednesday.
