Autos-Ford. The 1984 Ford Limited follows up its highly successful first year on the market with a host of improvements ranging from powertrain and functional upgrading to a new roof treatment for the Brougham four-door sedan (shown above). The unique formal roof, available in six colors, has a distinctive rear pillar/window treatment. Powertrain revisions include the addition of electronic engine controls and replacement of the 3.3-liter engine by the more powerful 3.8-liter V-6 with electronic fuel injection as the standard engine on the station wagon. Ford Division's new models go on sale September 22.
