Since then, her life has been shared not only by the fact of being a Kennedy and thus inevitably in the public eye; but also, now, because her husband is the last of the near-legendary Kennedy brothers, facing, as they did, the highest challenges and duties of political life. Mrs. Kennedy is pictured here in 1963 (left, center), 1965 (left, below) and (right) on the occasion of her appearance as narrator for "Peter and the Wolf," at a Washington concert in 1967.
