Airplanes - De Havilland (SX to Airplanes - Comet III - Jetliner) - Britain's Comet III jetliner comes in for a landing at London airport today after a 35,000-mile round-the-world proving flight climaxed by a six hour, eight minute crossing of the Atlantic from Montreal. The 74-ton, four-jet Comet III, forerunner of Britain's latest bid in commercial jet aviation, is a proving model for a bigger craft to come.
