Mrs. Francis Powers leaves the Soviet Embassy in Washington yesterday after an appeal for a visa to see her pilot husband who is being held prisoner in Russia as a spy. With her is W. P. Dickson Jr., president of the Virginia State Bar Association, one of the lawyers who accompanied Mrs. Powers on the visit to the embassy.
