Greene, Wallace (General) (Marine Corps). At the Veterans of Foreign Wars banquet in the Sheraton-Park Hotel, Washington, D.C., which ended the 3-day convention in the hotel. Over 2,000 persons from all over the country attended including Vice President Hubert Humphrey, Secretary of State Dean Rusk and other members of the Cabinet, Senate, Congress and top military officials.
