Newport News, Virginia, September 21 - The mighty supercarrier Forrestal heads through Hampton Roads toward the open Atlantic today for four-day resumption of sea trials and Navy acceptance tests. Faulty shaft bearing lubrication cut short the first trial last month. Repairs were made at the News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company here, where the Forrestal was built.
