Brunei. Ready Seria attack in Brunei - Sturdy Gurkhas load supplies into a truck at Brunei airport before launching their first counter-attack against rebels holding the oil field town of Seria 40 miles west of Brunei. One of their number directs the loading at upper right. The Seria attack was complicated by nine European hostages held by rebels at the Seria police station.
