Wood, Gen. Robert E. - The "American First" committee laid its case before Congress today when General Robert E. Wood, its National Chairman, warned the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that should this Nation go to war within the next 90 days as a result of passage of the lease-lend bill, the American people will believe that they were "tricked" into entering the conflict and they will charge their Congressional leaders with "betrayal."
