Description
"The French people have always loved the United States and would have never let her down. This is shown now that America has come to the help of the French," said Joseph Korson, commercial representatives in New Orleans of the RCA Communications who has applied for a commission in the United States Army. Mr. Korson knows the war scene thoroughly for he was born in Algiers, Algeria. The reason Casablanca did not surrender as readily as did Algiers is due, he said, to the fact that the Arabian population in Casablanca has not been Europeanized as has the population of Algiers.

Photo is dated 1942.

Photo measures 7 x 9.25 inches.
