Description
Old and New: The spires of Coventry Cathedral and Trinity Church stand in somber majesty as they have stood through centuries. Six-foot weeds, newcomers to the scene, hide some of the scars of war, left by destroyers. Six years after Hermann Goering tried to level Coventry, England, the city is still struggling to rebuild. Six-foot weeds sprout from ruins before the Cathedral and Trinity Church.

Photo is dated 1946.

Photo measures 10 x 5 inches.
