1949 Press Photo Auxiliary Places Memorial Day Wreaths At Shrine, New Orleans

Wreaths were placed at the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe at Conti and N. Rampart, and at the flagstaff in Audubon Park by members of New Orleans Unit No. 114, American Legion Auxiliary, in Memorial Day services today. Shown at the shrine are Mrs. George A. Parker, chairman of the memorial committee; Mrs. Earl B. Wilken, president of the unit, and the Rev. Bernard J. Clancey, OMI. Similar services were conducted throughout the city.
