Reverends George Robinson & Raymond Smith before a MLK parade. Reverend George Robinson, left, and Reverend Raymond Smith, right, say a prayer before motorcade starts. Rain pushed back the annual Martin Luther King day motorcade today in St. Bernard. After about an hour and a half delay, The Reverend George Robinson from the First Asia Baptist Church on Walker Lane in Meraux, signaled the start of the move. He and the Reverend Raymond Smith then held their hands up in prayer, in the rain. The small motorcade was to end up at the First Baptist Church in Verret where a memorial service was to be held.
