Red Cross aide Mrs. Rittenberg interviews blood donator Joe Odo. Joe Odo of Aribi, Michoud Ordnance plant photographer, shown being interviewed by Mrs. Philip Rittenberg, Red Cross staff aide, was simply paying back a debt when he donated blood at the plant yesterday. Odo said he received two pints of blood plasma when he was wounded on a German battlefield on March 29, 1945. He was with the 87th Infantry.

Photo is dated 1952.
