Steele, 1951 Perdidio St., New Orleans, Louisiana, is serving aboard a Coast Guard-manned somewhere in Pacific combat zones. His ship, one of many Coast Guard-manned vessels serving in all theaters of war, carries men and supplies to various fronts. Steele, who is a pointer on a gun crew, is married to the former Lydia Jenkins, of 3425 Palmyra St., New Orleans, Louisiana, their present home address.
