Description
The United States and Mexico signed a reciprocal trade agreement involving a long list of tariff concessions including a 50% cut in duties on imports into this country of crude and fuel oil. The treaty was signed in the State Department. Left to right, Senor Dr. Don Francisco Castillo Najera, Mexican Ambassador to the U.S.; Secretary of State Cordell Hull. Rear, Don Salvador Duhart, 1st Secretary of the Mexican Embassy; Mr. Charles Barnes, Chief of the Treaty Division of the State Department; and Don Roberto Cordova, legal advisor to the Mexican Embassy.
