Honorably discharged from war service, this stout cargo vessel is getting a complete check-over and face-lifting at an East Coast repair yard. Swarms of little men (somebody counted sixteen in this picture) comb every inch of her deck and innards, and even the paint job is already half done. In a few days, she will be polished and ready for the big peacetime job of our merchant marine.
