Julius La Rosa Julius La Rosa, a baritone who shot to fame on a swan song, announced today that his next big number would be a wedding march. The 26-year-old Brooklyn-born singer, who was fired in October, 1953 by Arthur Godfrey for a lack of "humility," said he would wed Rosemary "Rory" Meyer, a secretary in Perry Como's office.
