1948 Press Photo Actor Madge Meredith Arrives Court for Kidnap/Assault Sentence

Movie actress Madge Meredith's plea for mercy was turned down today (1/22) by Superior Judge Charles Frich and she was sentenced to a term of from 1 to 25 years in the women's prison at Tehachapi, California. Miss Meredith and three companions, who also received sentences, were charged with kidnapping and assaulting Nick Gianaclis, her business manager. She is shown arriving for court sentence.
