1953 Press Photo Korean Armistice Truce Commission Team Arrives Tokyo

7/2 - Tokyo: Switzerland's truce commission team arrived in Tokyo 6/30, ready to take up the Korean armistice supervisory duties. This advance contingent of some 40 or 50 members yet to arrive included Deputy Officer Colonel E. Asper (left), and Major General F. Rihner (center), head of the team. They were greeted at the international airport by Switzerland's Minister to Japan, Reinhard Hohl (left).
