Bobby Unser, in car No. 3 (foreground), is in the lead closely followed by Joe Leonard in car No. 60 at the halfway mark of today's Indianapolis 500 mile speedway race. Unser had retaken the lead from Earl Ruby on the 90th lap. Ruby was third after 250 miles.
