Serpent of the Nile - Jane Lapotaire, the star of the current Broadway triumph, "Piaf," stars as Cleopatra opposite Colin Blakely's Antony in the production of "Antony and Cleopatra" which will air Monday, April 20 at 8:00 p.m. (ET) on public television as the third production in season three of "The Shakespeare Plays." Jonathan Miller directs. "The Shakespeare Plays," which will present all 37 of Shakespeare's dramatic works over a six-year period, is made possible by Exxon Corporation, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, and Morgan Guaranty Trust Company. It is a BBC-TV and Time-Life Television co-production, presented for the Public Broadcasting Service by WNET/Thirteen, New York.
