Cincinnati - May 1 - Larry MacPhail, president of the New York Yankees, is completely startled as a one armed veteran pushes his way through a group of sports writers to ask MacPhail for his autograph. Sportswriters waited outside Baseball Commissioner A.B. Chandler's office here for 6-1/2 hours today only to be told by Chandler's secretary there "is no statement." MacPhail gave the autograph.
