A.M. Lockett works in his homemade metal workshop, New Orleans. For 15 years A.M. Lockett, prominent New Orleans businessman and former president of the Association of Commerce, has found recreation in a self-built metal workshop in the backyard of his Pass Christian home. The shop is complete with electric drills, presses, a forge, a lathe and other gadgets dear to the heart of an amateur workman. "Every man needs a shop like this if he wants to stay young," he said.

Photo is dated 1937.

Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
