Description
Much of the credit for the success of "Song of Norway," the operetta which opens a four-day engagement at the Poche tomorrow night, goes to Robert Wright and George Forrest, who wrote the lyrics and made the musical adaptations from more than 200 words by Edvard Grieg. In preparing the score, Wright and Forrest said their aim was "to interpret the composer as he would have expressed himself had he been writing an operetta today."

Photo is dated 1948.

Photo measures 8.25 x 10.25 inches.
