Barbara Leigh & Rock Hudson star in "Pretty Maids All in a Row". Funerals can be fun....especially if they are in a Roger Vadim directed black comedy. Barbara Leigh and Rock Hudson, playing husband and wife, look rather grim about the whole thing, but they have reasons for their cover-up. MGM's "Pretty Maids All In A Row" is French director Roger Vadim's first picture in the U.S. Gene Roddenberry produces. "Maids" stars Rock Hudson, Angie Dickinson and Telly Savalas. Roddy McDowall, Keenan Wynn and John David Carson co-star in the contemporary story, which concerns manners and moral sin a suburban high school. Also in the cast together with 16 pretty maids are Susan Tolsky and Barbara Leigh. The Panavision and Metrocolor MGM feature was shot on south California locations and on the MGM studio lot. Attending a funeral are Barbara Leigh and Rock Hudson, players in the black comedy "Pretty Maids All in a Row" opening Thursday at nine area theaters.
