Canadian runner Bruce Kidd wins the Inquirer mile race. Bruce Kidd, of Canada, breaks into a smile as he breaks tape to win the Inquirer mile in Philadelphia tonight. He was timed in 4:08.7. Kidd was challenged by Tom Sullivan, of Villanova, until the final turn. Sullivan fell back to 4:10.2.
