1959 Press Photo Owner Puts Lion in Oklahoma City Jail - nox29583

Oklahoma City, November 24 - Caged cat - Bewildered George the lion peers from behind bars at the city jail where his master lodged him last night. Ted Moore said George, a 70 pounder, was getting a little too playful and that he wanted to turn the cat over to the zoo. The zoo was closed last night and Moore had George jailed for safe keeping. George was removed from the jail early today.
