1957 Press Photo HIlton Hotels, Hertz Corporation Executives Sign Contract

Hertz and Hilton in international car rental contract Barron Hilton (left), vice president of Hilton Hotels Corporation, and Joseph J. Stedem, executive vice president of the Hertz Corporation, sign a five-year contract under which Hertz is granted exclusive car rental rights at all 26 Hilton-Statler hotels in the United States and in Hilton overseas hotels. The contract, said to be the largest of its kind ever executed, becomes effective June 1, 1957.
