Actor turns playwright - Steven Hill (center), one of the most gifted young actors of Broadway, Hollywood and television has turned TV playwright, and his first TV original - "Black Frost," a drama of intrigue and murder aboard a fishing boat - will be performed on the "Philco Television Playhouse" on Sunday evening, June 26, from 9-10 PM, EDST on NBC-TV. Hill appeared on Broadway in "The Country Girl," and has just completed a movie, "Storm Fear," with Cornel Wilde. He thinks playwriting "is far more rewarding, psychologically, than acting;" and that TV "offers more opportunities for the writer than any other medium in history."
