Three executives of the Louisiana Department of Highways will head the 12th annual convention of the Southeastern Association of State Highway Officials September 30 - October 2 at Asheville, North Carolina. They are, left to right, E.J. James, chief engineer of the Louisiana department, outgoing president of the regional group; J.A. Kinkead, project control engineer and SASHO secretary-treasurer, and Norman E. Lant, urban engineer, who is a member of the 12-state board of directors. Scheduled to succeed James as SASHO president is W.H. Rogers Jr., North Carolina state highway engineer, now serving as vice president of the organization.
