04/20 - Washington: Brigadier General Elliott R. Thorpe, Retired, former counter-intelligence officer, sits with Mrs. Owen Lattimore while listening to testimony at the Red hearing on Capitol Hill. Later Thorpe testified himself telling the senators that he believed Owen Lattimore is "a loyal American citizen and is in no way an agent of the Communist Party."
