1947 Press Photo District Attorney General Bolivar Kemp, 21st Judicial District

Death claims former Louisiana Attorney General Bolivar Kemp Amite, Louisiana - Bolivar Edwards Kemp, 61, former attorney general of Louisiana, died at his home here shortly after noon Wednesday of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Kemp served as attorney general from 1948 to 1952. Prior to that, he was district attorney for the 21st Judicial District from 1940 to 1948.
