1947 Press Photo Portrait Artist with Treasury Secretary John Snyder's Portrait

Snyder portrait and artist - Greta Kempton, artist of New Orleans and New York City, is shown with the portrait of Secretary of the Treasury John Snyder which she executed from life. It is a gift to the state of Arkansas from a group of Arkansas bankers and business men, honoring Secretary Snyder as the first native Arkansan to achieve a presidential cabinet post. He will be present for the unveiling and dedication of the portrait in Little Rock today.
