1956 Press Photo Police Officers Lampard, Server with Shoes of Suspect who Fled

Sergeant Robert Lampad said Ceaser lost these shoes when he leaped over an 8-foot barbed wire fence this morning while running from Lampard and Patrolman Jessie Server. Lampard said the toe in the shoe was cut because Ceaser's big toe had been shot off in an attempted escape earlier and his foot was still tender.
