1957 Press Photo Construction of Jefferson Parish Courthouse in Gretna

Progress in Jefferson - The nine-story new Jefferson Parish Courthouse in Gretna is proceeding rapidly toward its scheduled completion in November. It will house all the parish departments and possibly some state departments, replacing the present courthouse which was built in 1907 for $90,000.
