1956 Press Photo Treasury Department Savings Bond Program, American Cyanamid

The first certificate under its current program to increase savings bond purchases through the payroll deduction plan has been awarded by the Louisiana Savings Bond Division of the U.S. Treasury Department to the New Orleans branch of the American Cyanamid Company for outstanding achievement on the part of employees for better than 50 percent participation. Looking over the certificate are John G. Gomila (left), area manager of the savings bond division who made the presentation, and W.F. Jefferson, American Cyanamid branch manager who received it.
