Elizabeth Janeway, author and critic, whose newest novel, "Leaving Home" is being released by Doubleday on October 22. In her fourth novel, the author of "The Walsh Girls" and "Daisy Kenyon" tells the story of a Brooklyn family and what happens to its younger members as they come of age and leave home during the years between 1933 and 1939. Mrs. Janeway makes her home in New York.
