New York, New York, May 2 - Rear Admiral Thomas Halloran (U.S. Navy, Retired), recently appointed Industrial Development Director of Puerto Rico's Economic Development Administration, will direct from New York City a stepped-up campaign to attract mainland branch plants to the island. He succeeds Hugo D. Storer, longtime EDA executive, who returns to San Juan to head Puerto Rico's expanding tourism program. Mainland EDA headquarters are at 579 Fifth Avenue, New York City.
