J.R. Grainger, above, president and general sales manager of Republic Pictures Corporation, arrived here yesterday to line up the next season's pictures with the Saenger Theatre. His company makes 26 features a year, besides 24 westerns and four serials. Mr. Grainger predicted another cycle of musical pictures in the near future. "Historical ones should be due for a drop in popularity," he said, explaining that the craze for certain types of pictures goes in well defined cycles.
