Involved in shooting - Fred Hammer and his estranged wife, the former Andrea Luckenbach, walk together in Palm Beach, Florida in May 1949. Police said Mrs. Hammer, a steamship heiress, was shot and wounded by Hammer near the paddock at Delaware Park Racetrack at Wilmington, Delaware before the start of the first race today.
