The evolution of a 16 year old girl, Chris Guthrie (Vivien Heilbron), from the innocence of childhood into awareness of adulthood is dramatically depicted in "Sunset Song," a six part series which airs on the Mobile-funded Masterpiece Theatre. First novel in a trilogy by top Scots author Lewis Grassic Gibbon, "Sunset Song" is set in a small Scottish community in the beautiful windswept hills of Kincardineshire in the early 1900's.
