Sugar frosting atop the Empire State Building . . . "Hi, Sugar," says Jan Marie Hebert, Queen Sugar XXVI of the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival and Fair (right), as she greets Carl Maragliotta, Observatory Manager, while visiting the world's tallest building. Naturally, the "Hi, Sugar" greeting, the trademark of the Sugar Queen, was extended to all New Yorkers and will be extended to all visitors to the Sugar Cane Festival and Fair in New Iberia, Louisiana September 27 -29, 1968. Mr. Maragliotta reciprocated by presenting the Queen with a replica of the Empire State Building.

Photo is dated 1968.

Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches.
