1960 Press Photo Richard Heaney, John Schneller Survive Plane Crash, New Orleans

Richard J. Heaney Two New Orleans men whose plane is believed to have crash laded in the Chandeleur Islands area have been rescued by a shrimp lugger. The men who disappeared after taking off from the New Orleans Airport at 4 p.m. yesterday were the object of a broad, systematic plane search that stretched from Grand Isle to Mobile.
