1950 Press Photo Diana Hepworth, former model, with husband Tom on boat

Every photo in our collection is an original vintage print from a newspaper or news service archive, not a digital image. Please see our FAQ for more information.

Description
Diana Hepworth had a smudge of green paint on her face when we first met. She wore a voluminous wind breaker, knee boots and corduroy pants. Over her blond hair she wore a striped stocking cap. The wind blew the tattle at the end in her face. She didn't look like a former London model. Three years of sailing had left its mark. But spend an hour with Diana, and you'll realize that fancy living doesn't necessarily mean happy living. you'll hear that beautiful clothes don't make for contentment; you'll learn that luxuries aren't essential.

Photo is dated 1950.

Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
