Xavier's 1953-1954 Music League Series will be inaugurated this Sunday at 4:30 pm in the school's auditorium, with performances by a chamber orchestra of music by Johann Sebastain Bach, Georg Frederick Handel and Henry Purcell. Clifford Richter, a violist in the local opera and symphony orchestras, and a member of the Xavier music faculty, will conduct both the Bach D Minor Piano Concerto, featuring Istvan Nadas as soloist, and in selections from Purcell's "The Faery Queen."
