1959 Press Photo Evangelist Reverend Billy Graham & Wife Arrive in London

Evangelist may visit Russia - Evangelist Billy Graham shown with wife on arrival in London yesterday, today was reported considering an evangelical mission to Russia. The Reverend Arthur Goodwin-Hudson, an Anglican minister friend of Graham, said the evangelist has been invited to visit the Soviet Union by the leaders of the Baptist Church there and is expected to make the decision within the next 2 hours. Graham, somewhere in the English countryside visiting with friends today, was unavailable for comment.
